Search




Most Support.com® Cloud screens include a Search field that allows you to quickly find the information you are looking for. To use the Search function, begin typing one or more keyword(s). The table on that screen refreshes in real time as you type. Partial matches are included; for example, if you type Ste, then the results will include items such as StevenStephenStephanie, etc.

Table Navigation

Most tables within Support.com Cloud include the following functions:

  • Show entries: Typing a number in this field sets the number of rows the table will display on each page. mini screenshot
  • Search: See Search.
  • First page: Clicking this button takes you to the first page of the current table. 

  • Specific page: Clicking a numbered button takes you to the specified page of the current table.

  • Last page: Clicking this button takes you to the last page of the current table.

  • Sorting by column header: The top of most table columns displays one of the following arrow icons:
    • By default, this icon appears as both an up and down arrow, meaning that the data on the table is not being sorted according to the contents of that column.


    • If the column displays an up arrow, then the contents of the table are being sorted by the contents of that column in ascending (A-Z) order.


    • If the column displays a down arrow, then the contents of the table are being sorted by the contents of that column in descending (Z-A) order.

  • Clicking an arrow at the top of any table column toggles sorting the table by the content of that column in either ascending or descending order.

Support & Feedback

The Support & Feedback function allows you to contact Technical Support, search the online Knowledge Base, or browse the available online Help articles.




To use this function:

  1. Click the User icon (person) in the Navigation bar, and then select Help.


    The Support & Feedback window appears.

Entering Feedback


To enter feedback in the Support & Feedback window:

  1. Verify your email address at the top left of the window. You may edit this if needed.
  1. Enter your name in the Your Name field.
  1. Enter a subject for your message in the Subject field (required). Clicking the Help icon (question mark) at the left side of this field searches the online Knowledge Base for the word(s) you entered as the subject.
  1. Enter your message in the Message field (required). While writing, you may select text to apply effects (bolding, italics, and underlines, lists (bullets and numbers), and may also change the text and background (highlight) color as needed. You may also add a hyperlink by selecting text and then clicking the Link button.


Note: When supplying feedback, please provide as much details as possible, including the steps needed to replicate your issue. This will help support personnel diagnose and resolve the issue more quickly.


  1. If needed, you may click the Attach a file link to open a standard File Upload dialog that will allow you browse to and select a file to include with your feedback.
  1. Select the type of feedback you are submitting using the Type pull-down menu (required). The available options are:
    • Question: Use this to ask a general question about Support.com Cloud.
    • Feedback: Use this to supply specific feedback about Support.com Cloud.
    • Problem: Use this to report a problem you are experiencing with Support.com Cloud.
    • Feature Request: Use this to request future development for later versions of Support.com Cloud. Selecting the correct type will help ensure that your feedback reaches the correct teams as quickly as possible.
  1. The Your Support.com Cloud URL field is read-only; you cannot edit this field. It is included to assist Technical Support with tracking down and resolving reported issues.
  1. When you have finished entering your request, click the Submit button to send your feedback and display a confirmation.
  1. Either click the Close icon (X) to close the Support & Feedback window, or click the Go back link to refresh the window.

Searching the Knowledge Base


To search the Knowledge Base in the Support & Feedback window:

  1. Begin entering your desired search term(s) in the Search field. The Support & Feedback window updates in real time as you type. The search returns partial matches; for example, if you type Admi, then the search will return articles with the words Admin, Administer, Administration, etc. in them.
  1. Click an article title to open the selected article in a new browser tab/window.
  1. Click the Close icon (X) to close the Support & Feedback window and return to Support.com Cloud when you are finished.

Browsing Help Articles

To browse online Help articles via the Support & Feedback window:

  1. Click the or Browse help articles link to open the Customer Success Center in a new browser tab/window.
  1. Click the Close icon (X) to close the Support & Feedback window and return to Support.com Cloud when you are finished.
