Support.com® Cloud offers varying levels of connectivity and remote control based on the type of endpoint (device) being used by the consumer, as follows:



Windows

The following functionality is available when an Agent uses Support.com® Cloud to connect to a Windows computer:

  • Full screen view (multiple monitors supported).
  • Full keyboard and mouse remote control.
  • Ability to use a "laser pointer" and/or "write" directly on the consumer's screen.
  • Ability to execute commands remotely.  
  • Ability to push URLs that will open in the consumer's browser.
  • User can download and run the Guided Paths for Windows application to receive Agent-guided self-service.
  • Agent can chat with the consumer, receive files from the consumer, and access the Clipboard.
  • Agent can view content within Support.com Cloud to guide them through successfully completing the Session.

Mac

The following functionality is available when an Agent uses Support.com Cloud to connect to a Macintosh computer:

  • Full screen view.
  • Full keyboard and mouse control.
  • Ability to use a "laser pointer" and/or "write" directly on the consumer's screen.
  • Ability to push URLs that will open in the consumer's browser.
  • Agent can chat with the consumer, receive files from the consumer, and access the Clipboard.
  • Agent can view content within Support.com Cloud to guide them through successfully completing the Session.

Android

The following functionality is available when an Agent uses Support.com Cloud to connect to an Android device:

  • Full screen view.
  • Co-browsing allows Agents to push URLs to the device and view the consumer's screen while co-browsing is active.
  • Remote diagnostics (receive diagnostic information from the device and modify device settings).
  • Ability to use the camera on the device to receive a live stream from the consumerusing the SeeSupport feature.
  • Full gesture control for Nexus 7 phones/tablets.
  • Full remote control for compatible Samsung devices.
  • Agent can chat with the consumerand receive files from the consumer.
  • Agent can view content within Support.com Cloud to guide them through successfully completing the Session.
  • Integrated support for KNOX 5.3 and 5.4, which allows Agents to:
    • Take full remote control of Samsung Lollipop devices.

    • Click on the screen.

    • Turn SeeSupport on and off.
