Select Admin in the Navigation bar and then Settings>Push URLs to open the Manage Push URLs screen. Agents who are connected to consumer computers or devices can use a menu to select one of these URLs to push to the consumer. This can save time and help prevent errors caused by typos, especially for URLs that your Agents frequently push when assisting consumers.



The Manage Push URLs screen allows you to:


Viewing Existing Push URLs

The Manage Push URLs screen contains a table that displays the following information and functions for each saved push URL:

  • Edit: Clicking the Edit icon (lightning bolt) for a push URL opens the Quick Edit pane for that push URL. See Editing a Push URL.
  • Delete: Clicking the Delete icon (trash can) for a push URL deletes the selected push URL. See Deleting a Push URL.
  • Name: Name of the URL (such as Support).
  • URL: URL that will be pushed to the consumer's computer or device (such as http://www.support.com).


Adding a Push URL

To add a new push URL:

  1. Click the green Add New button at the top of the Manage Push URLs screen.

    The Push URL screen appears.


  1. Enter a name for the URL in the Name field, such as Support.
  1. Enter the complete URL in the URL field, such as http://www.support.com.
  1. Click the green Save button.

Support.com® Cloud will:

  • Add the new URL to the list of push URLs that are available to Agents.
  • Close the Push URL screen.
  • Return you to the Manage Push URLs screen.


Editing a Push URL

To edit an existing push URL:

  1. Click the Edit icon (lightning bolt) for the push URL you want to edit.

    The Quick Edit pane opens for the selected push URL.


  1. Update the name and/or URL by entering the updated information in the correct field(s).
  1. Click the green Update button.

Support.com Cloud will:

  • Update the selected push URL.
  • Close the Quick Edit pane.
  • Return to the Manage Push URLs screen.


Deleting a Push URL

To delete a push URL:

  1. Click the Delete icon (trash can) for the push URL you want to delete.

    The Delete URL popup appears.

  1. Click Yes to delete the URL.

Support.com Cloud will:

  • Delete the selected push URL
  • Close the Delete URL popup.
  • Return you to the Manage Push URLs screen.
