A Support.com® Cloud Administrator can create their own sandbox (“test”) environment. A sandbox environment provides the same configurations (e.g. user accounts, Guided Paths, Support Articles, Teams, Skills, etc.) as the production ("live") tenant. This allows for testing/training in a test environment that will not impact live data.
Note: The sandbox environment will not contain session data.
Selecting Admin in the Navigation bar and then selecting Integration>Sandbox in the sub-menu navigation opens the Sandbox screen.
Use this screen as follows:
- Click the Go to Sandbox button to open your sandbox environment in a new browser tab/window. Enter your username and password to begin using this environment.
- Click the Reset Sandbox button to reset your sandbox to the current production settings. This erases your existing sandbox, including all data.
