Pausing Remote Control (Windows and Mac)


This feature allows Agents and consumer to pause a remote control session for a Windows or Macintosh computer while preserving the remote connection. The Chat feature will work, but the Agent cannot be able to see or control the consumer's computer. Session recording will continue, but will appear blank during the pause.

  • To pause remote control, the consumer clicks the Pause button in the Windows or Macintosh toolbar.
  • To resume remote control, the consumer clicks the Resume button in the Windows or Macintosh toolbar.
