Inserting/Editing Images
Selecting Insert/edit image from URL in the Insert Media menu with no image selected allows you to add an image to the Step. If you have an image selected when you click this button, then you may edit that image.
The Insert/edit image popup appears:
To add or edit the image:
- Type the full path to the image in the Source field.
- Add a brief description of the image in the Image description field.
- Enter any custom dimensions in the Dimensions field. Checking the Constrain proportions checkbox preserves the aspect ratio of the image where changing one dimension of the image will automatically change the other dimension.
- If desired, you may click the Advanced tab (not shown) to add CSS styling to the image.
Click OK when finished.
Uploading Images
Selecting Upload image in the Insert Media menu opens the Upload Image popup.
Click the Choose File button to open a standard File Upload dialog that allows you to navigate to and select an image to upload, and then click OK to upload the image.
Inserting/Editing Videos
Selecting Insert/edit video from URL in the Insert Media menu with no video selected allows you to add a video image to the Step. If you have a video selected when you click this button, then you may edit that image.
The Insert/edit video popup appears:
To add or edit the video:
- Type the full path to the video in the Source field, and then add a secondary (backup) path to the video in the Alternative Source field.
- Type the full path to a poster image that will appear while the video is downloading in the Poster field.
- Enter any custom dimensions in the Dimensions field. Checking the Constrain proportions checkbox preserves the aspect ratio of the video where changing one dimension of the video will automatically change the other dimension.
- Click OK when finished.
To embed a video, paste the embed code in the Embed tab of this popup, and then click OK.
Uploading Videos
Selecting Upload image in the Insert Media menu opens the Upload Video popup.
Click the Choose File button to open a standard File Upload dialog that allows you to navigate to and select a video to upload, and then click OK to upload the video.
